With the SU Card, you can now earn points or free products every time you shop with us. Your SU Card can be used in any of the Students’ Unions businesses. Students’ Union businesses are spread thought out the campus, so your SU Card will quickly start to clock up the points.
CÉIM
Academic Peer Support for 1st Year Students
CÉIM is an academic peer-led support scheme for 1st year students in Engineering, BA Law, Geography and Political Science and Sociology. Groups of 1st years meet with trained 2nd year Student Leaders to learn from each other for one hour once a week or once every two weeks. Sessions are student led and are about working in small groups to gain a greater understanding of coursework, prepare for exams, develop new skills and become successful university students.

The Students’ Union shop is located in the Library Basement. It has a self-service coffee dock with delicious 100% Arabica Fairtrade Organic Coffee. Great prices and even better value when you use your SU Card
Smokey’s is a popular coffee dock on the Concourse of the Arts/Science Building, serving a full range of hot and cold drinks, snacks and fresh juices and smoothies.
Make Your Idea Happen
EXPLORE is where NUI Galway students and staff partner up and deliver their innovative ideas. Partnership is central to the culture of EXPLORE, which itself is a partnership between NUI Galway Students’ Union and the University. Since EXPLORE was launched in January 2012, we have delivered innovative ideas, new skills, new knowledge, new relationships and new inventions.
